Homeschool Arts Education Program
Omnes is so excited to be offering a new arts education program specifically for children that are homeschooled, beginning in September 2019! It will consist of weekly classes in music, dance, theatre, and visual arts (two rotating classes per week).
Teachers
Most of you know Svetlana Timtsenko, who was the previous owner of the dance studio, and continues to teach most of our dance classes. She is a homeschooling Mama herself, and will be teaching the dance classes in this new program!
Some of you know Maura Gonowon , who is one of our music instructors here at the studio. Maura is an Ontario College of Teachers certified music teacher, holding a Bachelor of Music and a Bachelor of Music Education. So not only is she very experienced in teaching music to children, but she also knows the curriculum and loves delivering it in very creative ways. She will be teaching our music classes for this program! Maura also has a great deal of experience and training in visual arts, so she will be teaching the visual arts component as well, using a great variety of materials and mediums.
Alexis Scott joined the studio last year, delivering an incredible theatre program. She is an active performer herself, and also teaches music and dance at the studio! She has been a wonderful addition to our team, and her well rounded programming focuses largely on student-led creativity and discovery. Alexis will be teaching our theatre classes in this new program!
How it Works
We’re excited to be offering a Homeschool Arts program running on Tuesday mornings from 10:00 – 11:30am at the studio. Once we receive registrations, students will be split into two age groups. Ages for our homeschool program are 5-12, with flexibility on both ends.
Week 1 – Group A goes to music while Group B goes to theatre, then they switch!
Week 2 – Group A goes to dance while Group B goes to art, then they switch!
…and so on 🙂

We’ll run this program as a series of 10-week sessions, with classes running from 10:00-11:30am on Tuesdays:
Session 1: October 1 – December 3, 2019
Session 2: January 7 – March 10, 2020
Session 3: March 24 – May 26, 2020
Fees
The cost of one 10-week session is $100 + tax for the first child. Additional children are $75 + tax. Please contact Taisha at taisha@omnesartscircle.ca for personalized payment plans.
