COVID-19 PROTOCOLS 2020-2021

Please read the following COVID-19 Protocols carefully prior to programs beginning. The studio has the right to make changes to these protocols as needed, in accordance with Government and Public Health regulations and protocols.

General Areas within the Studio

  • Students and Parents are required to self-screen prior to entering the studio premises; if symptoms are present, please do not enter the premises, and notify the studio immediately

  • If students forget to bring their mask with them, the studio will provide them with a disposable, non-medical grade mask, and a $2.00 charge will be added to their account (per mask)
  • Parents/guardians are not permitted to wait within the studio during their child’s class or lesson, but may wait in the lobby area of the building (parents/guardians may enter the studio to take care of business or to purchase dance or studio attire, as long as protocols are followed)
  • Students are asked to arrive a maximum of five minutes prior to their class or lesson beginning (unless taking part in Study Hall)
  • Parents/guardians of young children are permitted (and required) to drop off and pick up their child within the studio, while maintaining proper social distancing protocols
  • Hand sanitizer will be readily available in all rooms of the studio, and everyone will be required to use it (or wash their hands) upon entry
  • Floor markings and signs will be in place to remind students of social distancing protocols
  • The studio has purchased two fogger machines, and will be using Vital Oxide (a sanitizer approved by Health Canada to kill the Covid-19 virus) to sanitize all studios between classes and lessons. High touch points (such as door handles, light switches, faucets, surfaces, etc) will be sanitized regularly throughout the day.
